About the new member offer. The £850 rate is a promotion, not a discounted year. It covers you from the day you join until 31 March 2027, when our membership year ends. From 1 April 2027 it renews at the standard seven-day subscription, which is £1,095 at today's prices. We would rather you knew that now than found out next spring.
Please read this before choosing FlexiGolf. It is a pay-as-you-play card, not a competition membership. You cannot enter the medals, the trophy competitions or the Club Championships. What is open to you is the Captain's and Lady Captain's Drive-Ins, both Charity Days, the Club Invitation Day, and the Members Council Trophy if you hold a WHS Handicap Index. If you think you will want to play competitive golf, take one of the annual memberships instead and have a word with us first.
Getting your handicap sorted. Every competition here needs a WHS Handicap Index of 54 or below, which means joining the county union — £18.25 a year (CCGU for men, CCLGA for ladies). We will sort that out with you when you join.
Worth knowing about the trophies. Most of our trophy competitions ask you to have played eight qualifying singles competitions first (three for the Yellow Ball). The Saturday and midweek medals have no such requirement, so that is where new members build their qualifying rounds up — usually over a couple of months. The Ken Coates Trophy is open to everyone from day one.
Under 18s. We cannot take payment online from under 18s. Choose your membership below and complete the application — a parent or guardian will need to come along to the club, where they can settle the fee.
