My name is Phil Black and I have been a member of Pryors Hayes for over 7 years.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my year as Vice Captain. As a member of the competition committee and the member’s council, I have witnessed firsthand the enormous effort contributed by so many people to allow the club to run effectively and efficiently.

Assisting Simon Hetherington during his year as Captain and being Captain of the Pryors Hayes team has given me the opportunity to meet a large proportion of the golfers that make up the membership of this amazing club. I am both delighted and honored to be taking over from Simon from the 1st April 2023.

I am also delighted to welcome Mr Peter Shaw as my Vice Captain for the year.

As part of my Captaincy, I will be raising money and awareness for Crohns’ and Colitis UK. They are an amazing, national charity that offers help and support to the hundreds of thousands of people in the UK that suffer from this disease.
