Roger has been professionally coaching golf for over 40 years, from Beginners to Winners! He was trained to coach by the #1 Golf Coach/Professional in the North West Tommy Gardner.

I have been Professionally Coaching since 1974. My career started at Sandiway Golf Club, first as the Assistant Professional and then as Club Professional in 1978. In 1982 I was appointed a Cheshire County Team Coach.

During that time I competed regionally and also on the European Tour, holding two course records and nine hole-in-1’s.

However, my career has been dominated by a passion for coaching golfers of all ages and introducing beginners to the game. I’ve acquired vast experience and knowledge about all aspects of the game.

My philosophy is to coach each person uniquely, based on their age, playing experience and physical characteristics. I emphasise the key fundamentals of the game and focus on my drills and swing tips, that are proven to improve your game, which have been tried and tested successfully with over 100,000 hours coaching.

Over the decades I have had many pupils that went onto great success as Professionals and Amateur golfers. I also get great satisfaction helping Casual and Senior Golfer improve with simple modifications or swing thoughts.

I have made a long-term commitment to my Junior Coaching Development Programmes for kids aged from 3 years old to juniors aged 17. I am a Leadbetter Kids Certified World Coach and also a Mind Factor Certified Coach on the mental aspects of the game.

In 2000 I was the founder of the European Junior Golf Tour, with young competitors including Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrell Hatton and Aaron Rai.

In 2008 I published my fun handbook on Golf Etiquette, endorsed by Lee Westwood.

I also offer the very best coaching experience for my pupils with On-Course Playing packages learning the important skills of Course Management and Playing Strategy. A video of you experience will be provided to you for home analysis.

Apart from private coaching I run Group Classes for Men, Seniors, Beginners and Women’s Courses covering aspects of the game.

And finally, in March 2023 I will be fully trained as a Trackman Coach with the launch of my New Indoor Simulator Studio providing useful data and productive stats to golfers of all abilities. The simulator will also be available for hire.
