Sir Steve Redgrave brings the Sunshine to Pryors Hayes
The Hayes enjoyed the best day of summer, so far, when British Olympic Legend, Sir Steve Redgrave, visited us on Wednesday 1st May.
More than 80 business and school leaders from Cheshire West and Chester attended the day to hear the five time gold medallist explain plans for the proposed new Chester Student Village and the inspiring background to his own spectacular achievement through sport.
The sun was shining brightly (for what might seem like the first time this year) for 100 children from local schools who, mentored by experienced coaches, took part in a showcase of exciting new golf tuition and equipment concept – SNAG (Starting New At Golf) – which is designed to make the sport more accessible to many more young people. more…
